Angels and Demons

I had this idea to draw a succubus with two male angels around her with hearts in their eyes or something. It didn't work out (as always), and I only got got to paint the succubus. I found myself fussing over two many details and threw in the wings, tail and drop shadow at the end. Speaking of the drop shadow, I have to learn to make them better. Trying 10 or more times and still failing at creating it, is not something I should continue.

My pet monster

I hate that it falls off the page. Looking back, I don't like how things are placed on the page for most of the speed paintings, but that's just how they came out. My process (for most of them) have been get an idea working in the first 10 min. then get a gesture either with line or slabs of colour. After that's working, I noodle with stuff until the 1 hour is up. I never think about layout while painting...perhaps I should start ;)

The first tattoo I did as a joke for a friend who requested a "fix" for his band tattoo :P the second was a failed attempt at drawing to girls drawing tattoos on each other with markers. I might revisit this one...
